Folau should not be ‘bullied’ into supporting the Black Lives Matter movement

Israel Folau should not be bullied into ‘taking a knee’ in support of the “neo-Marxist” Black Lives Matter movement, according to Sky News host Rita Panahi.

Mr Folau refused to take part in an anti-racism protest along with his Catalans Dragons teammates before a Rugby League clash against St Helens in Leeds earlier this week.

Ms Panahi said it takes courage to go against the Black Lives Matter movement.

“It takes far more courage to be who says I am not going to take the name for some neo-Marxist group,” she said.

“Black Lives Matter is anti-capitalist, anti-police, and if Israel Folau doesn’t believe in that, why should he be bullied into taking a knee?”
